The defendant was a common carrier of passengers in and over the public streets of the city of Cincinnati, Ohio, and the defendant was a passenger for hire in one of its motor buses. She boarded the bus near the Courthouse, with the intention of being transported to the General Hospital, located on Burnet Avenue, an undisclosed distance away.
