Appellant Tommie Russell was convicted in the Circuit Court of Copiah County of the unlawful possession of beer in a county which by a local option election had theretofore prohibited the transportation, storage, sale, distribution, receipt and/or manufacture of same, in alleged violation of Miss. Laws 1956, Chapter 252. The question is whether the 1956 Act applies to counties which by a local option election...
