This is a libel in personam for salvage brought against the owners of the Elizabeth N. On January 26, 1955, at 11 A.M., the Elizabeth N., while dragging for scallops offshore on Georges Bank, was rammed by the fishing vessel Dartmouth. She was holed on the port side, aft, in the forward part of the engineroom. The damage was above the waterline, but she took water because of her roll.
