Appellant contractors brought this action to enforce a lien which they claimed in connection with the construction, pursuant to contract, of a residence on land owned by respondents. Respondents answered, interposing several matters of affirmative defense, and cross-complained, seeking damages for alleged defects in workmanship and material and for the failure of appellants to fully complete the contract according to its terms and the plans and specifications...
