Mr. Chief Justice BLUME delivered the opinion of the court.

This is an action for wrongful death brought under the provisions of §§ 3-403, 3-404, Wyoming Compiled Statutes 1945, the prototype of which is Lord Campbell's Act. Plaintiff alleged that Vern Walter Gifford was negligently killed by the defendant Haggerty in a collision on Highway No. 30 and that said Gifford died on May 1, 1955, as a result of such negligence.
