This action is before us on defendant's exceptions to the acceptance of a report of referees who, after hearing the case with right of exceptions in matters of law reserved, found for the plaintiff in the amount of $3,400.

The six exceptions relate (1) to pleading and admissibility of evidence, and (2) to the sufficiency of the evidence.
