In the complaint plaintiff alleged an oral contract entered into about August 1, 1951, with the defendants wherein he agreed to do certain plumbing work in their home; the work was completed on February 11, 1952. On June 27, 1952, plaintiff filed his claim for lien in the amount of $1,493.90 in the office of the clerk of the circuit court for Milwaukee county. No part of the amount claimed was paid and on October 19, 1953, action was commenced to foreclose...
