It appears from the record in this case that in 1948 the Aluminum Company of America, referred to here as Alcoa, was engaged in constructing a large plant near Davenport in Iowa, and that in November of that year, one Earl Barnes, an employee of a contractor on the job, namely the Central Asbestos and Supply Company was injured through the negligence of Alcoa's servants.
