On November 3, 1953, between 5:30 and 6:00 P.M. the defendant Fagan, an employee of and on duty with the defendant Brown Oil Tools, Inc., was driving north along the highway which parallels Bayou Lafourche, and when approximately two miles south of the town of Golden Meadow, La., he struck and killed Adam Crosby, husband of the plaintiff. Mrs. Crosby filed this suit individually and as natural tutrix of her minor children, and after trial of the case...
