BEARD v. A. R. BLOSSMAN, INC.

No. 4390.

94 So.2d 89 (1957)

Mrs. Myrtis F. BEARD, Plaintiff-Appellant, v. A. R. BLOSSMAN, Inc. et al., Defendants-Appellees.

Court of Appeal of Louisiana, First Circuit.

March 25, 1957.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

France W. Watts, Jr., Franklinton, for appellant.

Christovich & Kearney, New Orleans, Dalton J. Barranger, Covington, Reid & Reid, Hammond, for appellees.

TATE, Judge.

This is a companion case to Beard v. Blossman, La.App., 94 So.2d 87. Since the negligence of the driver of the car in which plaintiff was riding as passenger was held to be the sole proximate cause of the accident, the District Court correctly dismissed her suit for the resultant damages.

Accordingly, the judgment is affirmed.
