This is an action of mandamus, brought by a teacher in the School District of Pittston Township against the district and the directors thereof for reinstatement as a teacher, to the position from which she was suspended on April 12, 1955. The action was tried before the court without a jury, by agreement, under section 1 of the Act of April 22, 1874, P. L. 109, 12 PS § 688.
