Plaintiffs brought this action to quiet title to certain mining claims located in the Copper Mountain (unorganized) mining district in Lincoln County, Montana.

Defendants appeared by answer, denying the allegations of the complaint and further alleged that they claimed title to certain mining claims, which for brevity herein will be called the Mariposa Lilly Group, and which embraced within their boundaries some, or all, of the lands...
