The indictment herein charged John Dioguardi, Charles Tuso, Theodore Rij, Charles Salvatore Carlino, Domenico Bando, Leo Telvi, Joseph Peter Carlino and Gondolfo Miranti with the crime of conspiracy (T. 18 U.S.C. § 371)1 in that they had conspired to injure Victor Riesel, a witness before a Federal grand jury in the Southern District of New York in a "rackets" investigation...
