Lani Booth filed a petition in the circuit court of the first circuit for the appointment of a guardian for her sister, Victoria Kathleen Ward, alleging that Miss Ward was seventy-seven years of age, mentally infirm, unable to manage her business affairs, and non compos mentis; that she has a substantial estate of real and personal property situated within the Territory of Hawaii of a value in excess of $100,000; that it was necessary...
