This is an appeal from a judgment of the Superior Court of Santa Clara County in an action which was submitted to that court as an agreed case. The judgment decreed that reimbursement agreements executed by James E. Payne and his daughter, Vera King, created liens in favor of Santa Clara County upon the real property of each party at the time said liens were executed for welfare assistance that had been rendered to their respective spouses some years previously...
