Walter R. Hauff, referred to herein as the deceased, was a granite cutter. He was employed by A. C. Kimball, who used the name of Kimball Monument Company in the conduct of his business at McCook and who is referred to herein as Kimball, from December 1923 until he was disabled in July of 1954.
