Appellant, Otis Clark, having been convicted in 1952 on three felony charges, was confined in the Kentucky State Reformatory in Oldham County to serve three consecutive two-year terms. On May 19, 1954, he escaped from a work detail which had been taken to Jefferson County. After apprehension he was returned to the reformatory on May 22.
