On September 2, 1952, the five claimants were riding in an automobile, owned and driven by claimant, Gerald Rindfleisch, proceeding easterly on Highway 30 through Town of Glidden, Iowa. Gus H. Mundt was driving north on a street in the town and drove his car onto primary 30 and into the car occupied by claimants.
