On May 20, 1952, a contract, executed under private signature, was entered into whereby plaintiffs agreed to sell to defendants certain immovable property for the price of $14,700, represented by two promissory notes, one for the sum of $7,500, payable in monthly installments of $75; the other for the sum of $7,200, due and payable in equal monthly installments of $75, the first monthly installment to be paid on or before October 16, 1960.
