WARD, Justice.

Appellant, Clayton Vernon Lancaster, was charged with first degree murder, and after a two-day trial the jury returned a verdict of guilty of voluntary manslaughter and fixed the punishment at five years imprisonment in the penitentiary. He was sentenced by the court in accordance with the verdict of the jury.
