On November 14, 1953, Jake Dupree recovered judgment against Merlin Quinn in the District Court of Upshur County, Texas, for the sum of $5,464.80, plus interest at the rate of 6% per annum from date of judgment, and costs of suit; also for a foreclosure of a chattel mortgage lien upon certain personal property pledged by Quinn to Dupree to secure the debt sued upon. The personal property was sold by the sheriff of Upshur County under order of sale...
