The plaintiff, a minor, brought this action of tort against a physician to recover for injuries alleged to have been sustained in the course of an operation for the removal of the plaintiff's tonsils and adenoids. It is undisputed that the plaintiff's uvula was removed in the course of the operation.

The verdicts for the defendant were properly directed on the first two counts which were for negligence...
