As amended by the legislature in 1953, the zoning law authorizes the institution of actions to prevent violations of municipal zoning ordinances by "any owner or tenant of real property in the same contiguous zoning district as the building or structure in question." And in the event that a permanent injunction is decreed, it authorizes the court in its discretion to allow the plaintiff...
