The suit, in form of trespass to try title, was brought by the Texas and New Orleans Railroad Company against S. H. Oil & Royalty Company and Thomas J. Haberle to recover title to and possession of 1.7 acres of land in Chambers County, a part of the William Bloodgood Survey. The defendants answered by pleas of not guilty.
