On December 29, 1947, Alexander C. Deutsch, an employe of the Pittsburgh, Chartiers & Youghiogheny Railway Company (hereinafter called the P. C. & Y.), who was engaged in the course of his employment, while attempting to board a freight car of the P. C. & Y., slipped and fell, thereby suffering the injuries complained of.
