After trial before a jury defendant, an osteopathic physician, was convicted on four counts of prescribing narcotics for a person not under his treatment for a pathology, in violation of section 11163 of the Health and Safety Code.
He was also convicted of one count of prescribing a narcotic for a person "who represented himself to be an addict," in violation of section 11164 of the same code.
