The defendant, John Dudley Robinson, was tried by a jury on an indictment charging him with the rape of Juanita Snyder. Code, § 18-54. He was found guilty and his punishment fixed at life imprisonment. The court overruled his motion to set aside the verdict and sentenced him in accordance with the finding of the jury.
