In this action for libel the defamatory words pleaded in the first cause stated in the complaint as referring to plaintiff are: "A former Marine who police said threatened to kill his wife". The pleading describes these words as being published in a newspaper article "which mentioned plaintiff's possession of a .45 calibre revolver". The second cause is based on a radio broadcast of this publication...
