The plaintiffs, the owners of the Emery Ranch in Santa Cruz County, brought this action against the owners of the nearby Wright Ranch to establish their right to one-half of the flow of water from a certain spring located on the Wright Ranch, and to compel the defendant Agnes Cox, now Agnes Cox Wright, the present owner of the Wright Ranch, to remove certain improvements on the Wright Ranch that are alleged to interfere with plaintiffs' water rights....
