This case arose out of a collision in the East River between a carfloat in tow of the Baltimore & Ohio's tug William J. Dickey and a carfloat in tow of the New York, New Haven and Hartford's tug Transfer No. 15. The New Haven brought a suit against the B. & O. in admiralty to recover for the damages resulting from the collision. Judge Galston found the Dickey at fault and gave judgment for the libellant for the entire damages. From...
