The Monmouth County grand jury returned an indictment charging the defendant with maintaining a place to which persons might resort for gambling, in violation of N.J.S. 2A:112-3. The defendant was convicted after trial by a jury and appeals the judgment. We granted certification prior to argument in the Appellate Division.
