This cause arose from an intersectional accident which occurred in Hammond, Louisiana, on March 13, 1954, at about 9:45 P.M. at Southeast Railroad Avenue and East Hansen Avenue in the City of Hammond. The plaintiff's car was being driven by his wife and was proceeding south on the first mentioned Avenue, while the defendant's car, driven by him, was traveling west on East Hansen Avenue.
