Plaintiff, Woodward Liquors, cashed a number of checks bearing indorsements forged by defendant's employee, Robert George. This suit for repayment of its loss was brought against the defendant-employer, B. F. Saul Company, as drawer of the checks, charging that plaintiff's loss was due to the method of placing the checks in the hands of George and also to failure to maintain proper supervision of the distribution of the checks.
