The Banner Food Stores Association is an association of local retail food grocers, which is duly chartered as a nonprofit corporation under the Nonprofit Corporation Law of May 5, 1933, P. L. 289, 15 PS §2851 — 1 et seq.

Plaintiff, a member of the association, was expelled from membership by vote of the board of directors. Claiming that his expulsion was illegal, this action in equity was instituted to compel his reinstatement...
