Petitioner, a citizen of Iran, on July 6, 1943, executed Department of Selective Service Form 301 to be relieved from military service on the ground that he was a citizen of a neutral country. No action was taken upon his plea prior to the entry of Iran into the war. He thereupon lost any claim for exemption and was classified IA. There are three provisions of law dealing with the eligibility for naturalization of persons claiming exemption...
