Plaintiff, Bissell Carpet Sweeper Company (Bissell), a Michigan corporation, sued Masters Mail Order Company (Masters), a Maryland corporation, defendant, for violation of the Maryland Fair Trade Act, Annotated Code of Maryland, 1951 Edition, Article 83, Sections 102-110, and for violation of "the similar fair trade laws of other States." The complaint contained the requisite allegations for suits based upon diversity
