This is an appeal by the defendant on questions of law from a judgment awarding alimony to the plaintiff.

The parties to this action were married in 1924 and separated in 1947. The defendant moved to Illinois and plaintiff remained in Ohio. In August 1948, plaintiff filed an action for divorce in Defiance County and obtained service upon the defendant by publication. The defendant did not appear...
