On February 17, 1951, plaintiffs, claiming to be the legal owners of certain real property located in the Parish of Lafourche and alleging that defendants, Bertoul Cheramie, Dolte Cheramie, and the heirs of the deceased spouse of Bertoul Cheramie, were possessing and claiming to be the owners thereof, instituted this petitory action seeking to be declared the legal owners and to have defendants account to them for all oil, gas or other minerals removed...
