The State Tax Collector, Mrs. Thomas L. Bailey, brought this suit in the Chancery Court, First Judicial District of Hinds County, against Kenneth and L.N. Muse and seven other defendants, for the purpose of collecting from them the statutory fine and penalty provided by Code of 1942, Sections 2639 and 2640. Six other defendants were joined in attachment and garnishment as debtors of the principal defendants....
