This is an indictment in which the defendant is charged with violating General Laws 1938, chapter 610, § 5. After a trial in the superior court, at which he presented no evidence in his own behalf, the jury returned a verdict of guilty. Therafter he moved for a new trial which was denied by the trial justice.
