The defendant is appealing from his conviction and sentence under a charge of gambling by operating a football pool, the offense allegedly having been committed in the Parish of Orleans at 859 St. Charles Avenue. Numerous bills of exceptions were reserved during the course of the trial, but only five are presented for our consideration.
