This is a motion to reduce sentence. I would be willing to consider granting the motion, which is timely, if I thought I had power to do so. The defendant has been ordered to pay a fine of $1,000 after pleading guilty to a two count indictment charging "willful" non-payment, in March, 1954, of the special gambling tax imposed by 26 U.S.C. §§ 3290 and 3291.
