This is a suit for wrongful death brought against the railroad under Section 1 of the Federal Employers' Liability Act, 45 U.S.C.A. § 51, by the administratrix of the estate of one of its employees. The deceased, a trainmaster on the railroad, was killed in a head-on collision of the Southern Belle No. 1 and the Extra 51-A which occurred at 7:03 A.M. on August 10, 1951, on a section of track near Lettsworth, Louisiana, leased by the railroad...
