On October 22, 1953, at about 7 o'clock a. m., there occurred a collision between a Ford V-8 automobile-truck and a Pontiac sedan in about the center of the intersection formed by the outgoing traffic lane of Bienville Street and the downtown traffic lane of North Carrollton Avenue.
