The defendant in error, L.P. Kelley, instituted this action against the plaintiffs in error, Eddie Cox and John Allen Phillips, II, on May 1, 1953, to quiet title to one hundred sixty acres of land in Atoka County, and alleged in his petition that he was the owner, in possession, and that the defendants claim some adverse right, title or interest in and to the land and pray judgment quieting his title thereto...
