In November and December, 1953, plaintiff (respondent) furnished labor and materials in improvements made in defendants' (appellants') residence, in Buena Vista Townsite, Bannock County. The work was done pursuant to an oral agreement which was modified and additional items included as the work progressed. The defendants planned to sell the house and move to Utah. Their purpose in constructing the improvements was to make the house salable....
