April 9, 1956.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

L. B. Smead, Camden, W. R. McHaney, Smackover, Melvin T. Chambers, Magnolia, for appellants.

Gaughan, McClellan & Laney, Camden, for appellee.

ROBINSON, Justice.

This action involves the ownership of part of the minerals in 65 acres of land. It is the practice in oil fields to refer to the ownership of a percentage of the minerals in a given tract of land as so many "acres of minerals", or "mineral acres". As an -example, if a person owns 25/100ths of the minerals in 100 acres, he is regarded as owning 25 "mineral acres", or 25 "acres of minerals". We will follow that practice in sthis case.
