Defendant, Virgil Floyd, business agent of Local 179 of the Teamsters' Union, with an office in Joliet, Illinois, was charged in a two-count indictment with a violation of Title 18 U.S.C.A. § 1951(a), known as the Hobbs Act or the Anti-Racketeering Act.
