The appellant, Whayne Supply Company, instituted this action to recover the sum of $420.27 alleged to be due from the appellee, I. H. Gregory, on an open account; the further sum of $147.75 a month, from August 7, 1953, for rental alleged to be due on a sheepsfoot roller, and sought also the recovery of the roller; or the sum of $875, its alleged value.
