This is a suit by the Lac du Flambeau, Lac Courte Oreilles and Bad River Bands of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians of Wisconsin. It relates to swamp lands lying within the separate reservations of these three bands of Indians. The complaint of the Indians is that the United States, when it created their reservations, granted to them areas of land which included land which it had, some years before, granted to the State of Wisconsin, and that as a result...
